Textile engineers since 1946.

What began as pioneering work in hand printing is today a high-tech industrial operation. We have evolved. Our standard hasn't: quality on principle.
Evolution towards precision.
What began as a vision in 1946 is today an industrial operation with an annual capacity of 7 million metres. The path: continuous evolution – from manual screen printing to highly automated rotary technology, from basic finishing to fully integrated process control in Fehraltorf.
We master the machine.
Owner Urs Schellenberg comes from textile machinery engineering. This background defines our DNA: we don't accept standard settings. We modify process parameters well beyond manufacturer specifications to push boundaries mere operators can't reach.
For us, technology is not a finished product – it's a tool we sharpen. Where the industry standard often demands compromise on fabric appearance, we invest in a deep understanding of process control. This engineering curiosity is at the core of our culture: we don't look for the easiest path for the machine, but the best path for the fibre. That's the difference between a finished fabric and a Schellenberg textile.

Straight talk, no hierarchy.
As a family business in its third generation, we offer the independence that corporations often lack. You speak with people who understand processes and put feasibility before revenue.
Our staffing structure reflects this focus: of 120 employees, 80 work directly on the production floor and 4 in in-house process development. We don't manage textiles – we create them. With flat hierarchies and direct decision-making, we secure the agility that complex projects demand.
Two worlds. One quality.
We unite Technical Textiles and Finest Jersey under one roof. This combination is our strategic advantage: we harness the robustness of technical processes for our fine fabrics – and the aesthetic precision of fashion for our technical textiles.

Different markets, the same uncompromising standard. We guarantee fully integrated production in Switzerland for both segments – from greige goods to certified finish.
Security through scalability.
As an industrial operation, we offer the capacity that international supply chains require. Our infrastructure in Fehraltorf is built for volume and security of supply – three-shift and scalable.
Discipline on principle.
We have grown with Fehraltorf. With our site now in the heart of the village, radical environmental protection is not an option – it's how we live next door. We filter, purify and recycle because we bear responsibility on our own doorstep.
Using the cold pad batch process and state-of-the-art technology, we reduce water consumption significantly.
With our in-house wastewater treatment plant, we purify all industrial process water directly on site, guaranteeing the highest discharge quality.
Since 2017, we have been dyeing to the Cradle to Cradle Certified® Gold standard, enabling biologically circular products.
We feed waste heat from our processes directly into the municipal district heating network.
Consistency builds trust.
We work for clients who accept no compromise on specification. Our track record is not built on a single name, but on the consistency with which we meet the most complex requirements over years – whether the IR remission for a uniform or the exact colour shade for a high-fashion collection.
